CM attends SDG meeting at Guwahati

GANGTOK: Sikkim Chief Minister P.S. Golay today attended the meeting on Sustainable Development Goals at Guwahati, an IPR release informs. The meeting was chaired by DoNER minister Jitendra Singh.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Sikkim Chief Minister also held a brief meeting with Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Tripura Chief MinisterBiplab Kumar Deb, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga and Nagaland Land Revenue minister Neiba Kronu.
During the meeting, they briefly discussed about the developmental strategies being adopted by the respective NortheasternStates, the release mentions.
During the meeting on Sustainable Development Goals, the Chief Minister took part in the release of three books. The books released were SDG Conclave 2020 State Indicator Framework & District Indicator Framework of North Eastern States, North East and SDGs Partnerships, Cooperation and Development, and Stories of Change (Journey to the Global goals)
Along with the other Chief Ministers of North Eastern States, the NITI Aayog vice chairperson was also present during the release of the books.
